Information about CJS Training

Dedicated to providing quality, AoFA/HSE accredited First Aid Training to industry and individuals

Welcome to CJS Training I served for over 30 years in the Merseyside Police in operational roles, and also in the training environment. I have 20 years within the reserve Armed Forces, including a period of active duty with the RAF.

During my service I saw many instances of injuries, accidents, illnesses, and was always struck by the number of people who would say, "WHAT COULD I HAVE DONE?"

Simple skills, common sense, a desire to help others, there is nothing mystical about first aid.  On completion of service it was logical that I should use the skills and knowledge I gained in a useful and practical way.  To this end, for the last 5 years I have been delivering training across the UK and Ireland to a wide variety of companies, groups, and organisations.

My aims are to provide first aid training to suit people of all ages and backgrounds, within the workplace, at home, for leisure, wherever there is a possible need.  My background in the Police was operational, with hands on and practical experience in many emergency situations working alongside colleagues from the other Emergency Services..

CJS Training looks to pass on those experiences,in a friendly, student centred way so as to make candidates feel at ease and confident in their own abilities.  As a member of AoFA(Association of First Aiders), we have access to a diverse number of trainers in First Aid and many other associated subjects. If you have any specific interests, CJS Training will try to accommodate your needs.
